Arthur John

This is My Grandfathers Original "Continuous Certificate of Discharge For Seaman". It tells the history of his career as a seaman starting from his first official engagement as a cook upon  the vessel "Mary Paulin" in 1932 to the last registered engagement upon the vessel "Evelyn B" in 1942 as First Officer.
He then took some time off  to take his MASTERS exam, which he passed and received his Masters Papers. Unfortunately he never got to use them.
His final engagement upon the "SS Rose Castle" is not listed because usually the book did not get filled out untill the engagement aboard was completed.
